Swager Communications designed and produced the RTR/RCAG Stair Tower to meet the FAA’s requirements for an easily accessible platform to support RTR and/or RCAG antennas. The stair tower permits access to the antennas by technicians who are not trained in climbing standard towers and eliminates the need for safety climbing equipment for those technicians. These towers also reduce the number of RTR towers needed due to their ability to support more antennas per tower. Self-supporting, 4-legged GP-series RTR tower with a 48-inch O.C. uniform face width. Includes rigid safety climbing ladder. Towers will be designed to the current ANSI/TIA-222 standard for up to 170 mph basic wind and ½” radial ice.
